how to lock the lever operator

with the 39-069 lever operator in the fully closed position, is the window essentially locked? or do you need an additional locking mechanism installed? thanks.

Yes, the lever operator in the closed position does keep the window locked. On an typical size awning window there is no need for additional lock.
