how to measure to determine which size of Truth Lever operator to order

I am looking at 39-070. https://www.swisco.com/lever-lock-operator/pd/Awning-Window-Replacement-Operators/39-070. I know there are two other sizes - it says to measure to determine size but what am I to measure? It would be so helpful if you explained wht the 23-1/4" referred to. Also if you have one you need to replace, what measurement of that operator would tell me it's size.

Since the awning window is installed as a clerestory window 12-15' above a loft I would really like to replace it with an operator that could be operated remotely. Do you have an operator which can be remotely operated?

Hello there. The 23-1/4" refers to the wingspan of the 39-070. This is basically the maximum position of the operator arms. See the image below from the product page--the 23" really should say 23-1/4", so apologies for any confusion! I am afraid we do not sell any remote operators, and there's no attachment we carry to extend the handle on this operator. Apologies for any inconvenience.
