Hello:
I am ordering my balancer. But there was a list of required options with different numbers like 2910, 2920...after clicking on Add to Cart. It wouldn't go through if I don't select it. I wonder what are those options and if I have to choose the options. Thanks.
how to order channel balancer

Good morning, and thank you for posting! You do have to choose one of the options; they are indicative of the strength of your balance--that is, they determine what kind of sash weight two balances working together can carry.
The easiest way to determine what option to select is to match it up to what's stamped on your balance. Do you have any numbers printed on your balance, either stamped or inked?
If not, then we will have to know how heavy your window sash is. You can determine this by removing it from the window and placing it on a scale.

Thanks for getting back to us! S385-30 is the SWISCO product code, but that shouldn't be stamped on your channel. Are there any numbers stamped or printed on your metal channel?
If not, we will need to know the weight of your window sash in order to determine the correct option.

Thanks for your quick response. My number is S385-30. I do see a lot of options on the screen, such as 2910 to 2960 as well as 2965. I wonder which one I should choose. Thanks a lot.

Thanks again for your swift response. I can only see one number on the metal bar. It is 29-9 AA CMC, seems like.

Thank you! That'd be the one. Unfortunately, 29-9 does not correspond to any of our existing options. We will have to know the weight of your window sash, please remove the window sash and place on a scale to get us the sash weight in pounds.

Thanks, Gail! I think you should go with the 2950 stamp option. This will carry a window sash weight range of 28 through 32 pounds.
Please keep in mind that the weight range information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
