i need to buy a replacement lock for my anderson sliding glass door

Question

are the locks standard size and how do I know if it is right or left I just need the handle with the hook is that sold separate or do you have to purchase the entire lock system?

Our 82-043 Andersen Tribeca thumb latch is sold as a whole unit so you would need to purchase the entire unit. Also something to note, the reason why these thumb locks normally break is because the internal mortise needs to be replaced as well so take a look at our 82-037 mortise lock as well. I would suggest considering replacing that as well.
