identify replacement parts

Older aluminum sash windows need some new hardware. Would like your recommendation on replacement. Pictures attached. Plastic glazing bead strip. In folded position as taken out of window, the strip measures 13/16", fold over a 1/4". Mohair strip insulation, track opening from outside is 1/8". Rubber tube or strip mounted in window sill which sash seals against. 1/4" wide. Can you send a sample of glazing strip and the rubber strip. i have (Had) an account with you in the past. Haven't used it in a while.

I'm afraid I can't make out what you have from these photos. Starting with the glazing and the rubber strip, can you show me a clear picture of the end profile? The video below will explain what I mean.

As for the wool pile, can you verify its exact dimensions? We don't have anything in this style with only a 1/8" base. You can see our full selection here.

i am attaching a picture of the glazing bead with dims overlayed. When i remove my sunscreens, iwill be able to define the bottom sash seal better and at that time i will take out a sash so i can measure the mohair strip plastic

Thanks! This reminds me strongly of our 55-174, though our measurements differ slightly. Look it over and see what you think.

I think the 55-174 will work very well. It may actually be that profile. Attached is a picture of the sash sill seal. I can move it from side to side so it must be in a slot. How do i get it out? doesn't look like ican take apart anything else. Just pull hard? Attached photo

Are you referring to that black vinyl weatherstripping? Most seals like this install by pushing it into a slot from the side, though in some cases the window manufacturer designs it so that the slots are sealed in afterwards. In those cases you have to make a notch or cutout to provide enough space to pull the old seal out.

This is assuming that your seal is the type that pushes in from the side. There is another type that pushes straight into a slot; in those cases it should just pull out.
