in need of pivot bars

A home owner from Scotch Plains, NJ says:

Good Morning,

We have a few windows that have broken pivot bars.

The first picture is what the windows look like. They were installed 13 years ago.

I took a picture of one of the broken pivots. There is a #5 etched into it.

I really hope you can help us. We are moving and the inspector is not going to let this pass.

Thank you,

Meghan

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Thanks for posting, Meghan. There are a couple different replacement options for this pivot bar. It ultimately depends on one specific measurement: the distance between the center of the installation hole (in your case, the hole where the break is) and the tip that goes into the pivot shoe.

Start by looking at our 26-226 and 26-325. Cross-reference our dimensions with that same measurement on yours and see if either of these can work for you.
