info on balances

I need a video on replacing spiral balances. I have some extras that I can use and/or need to replace the ones in the current windows. All windows are TG from seasonall.

If the spiral rod in the balance comes all the way out, can I put it back in and still use it?

The screw that holds the balance to the window frame,that does not hold the rod in any way? I just fasten the balance to the hole in the frame and let the spiral rod do its thing?

Did the inside spiral come completely out of the tube, giving you two different parts? If so, then this cannot be repaired. You will need a new balance.
