window screening material.
we have used aluminum screening in the past, but I believe there are better options..
fiberglass screening vs. aluminum screening, what are the better choices.

The home we are working on is located very close to the ocean.

Hello there. I would suggest using fiberglass type screen cloth, like our 45-036. Since you're at the seashore, your best bet would be fiberglass because it holds up better with the salt air. These days, aluminum screen cloth is coated to prevent corrosion, but it still does not hold up as well. Fiberglass Screen cloth comes in various widths depending on the size you need. See what you think.

I have heard of vinyl coated polyester. What are your thoughts on this?

That would be our Pet screen wire that is stronger than fiberglass screen wire. As the name say it is resistance to abuse from pets and kids. It will hold up just as well fiberglass screen wire to the salt air. View our selection of screen meshes here.
