install of replacement latch

Just received 83-127 latch and pull. I can't figure out how to install with the latch permanently attached. What's the secret?

I'm not sure what you mean. The 83-127 just screws to the door, there's not much more involved than that. Can you go into more detail on where you're running into problems, exactly?
