installing weather stripping

A handy person from Grand Rapids, MI says:
I have a Acorn Dorwal sliding glass door. I have the weather stripping but can't figure out how to replace (remove) the weather stripping that is attached to the door and not the frame. Any quick suggestions?

Casey from SWISCO responded:
Sometimes the manufacturer stamps the weatherstripping channel to prevent it from sliding out. Look closely to see if crimped indentation marks are along the metal holding the weatherstripping. If this is the case use an utility knife to cut out the old weatherstripping and with a thin putty knife lift up to open the indentations so you can slide in the new weatherstrip.
