inswing door hardware

A quick learner says:
Prior to receiving and installing the inswing hardware, should/can the door be hung on the same side jam that will ultimately swing in? The door is not hung yet but will be this week for the winter and the inswing hardware later when in hand.

Are there any retail outlets in the MA, NH, or Maine areas that inswing hardware can be seen and bought?

Our 40-028 inswing handle set is made to go on the side where the door will be hung and swing inward. This hardware is a surface mounted type used on storm doors; I'm not sure what type of storm door you have. Check the storm door that you are purchasing because in some cases it could have a mortise lock which you can convert to in-swing. In either case, you will need to use the 40-006 in-swing door closer bracket to reverse the closer.
