internal tilt latch

Home Owner from Omaha, NE
Hello. I'm in need of both a left and a right. It doens't quite match with any of the items I've found on your site so far, so maybe the photos will help. I haven't found any brand marking on the window itself. And the only numbers on the latches are a "2" on the fixed part, and a "3" on the part that slides.
It's internal, in that it is held in place with a screw, rather than sliding into a groove on the top of the unit. And then an actuator that looks just like your 26-234 click in through the oval in the window.
It looks similar to your 26-132P, but that one hs an oval hole, so the actuator won't click in place. I think.
Thanks.

Hi Doug,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm afraid the 26-132 latch pair would work to replace your existing hardware. As you mentioned, they have an oval shape opening and aren't compatible with any of the actuators/levers we have.

Our best suggestion is to repair the window with surface mounted latches like the 26-228 and 26-229. Their dimensions can be found directly on the website.

There are also an assortment of Surface Mounted Latches on the website, if these will not be a fit.
