i was looking at your choices on the web site, the 39-346 looks like it may work only the dimensions are not quite the same. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I'm trying to locate an operator that will work for this window that is on a storm door that was purchased on long island ny in 1993. I have tried purchasing a universal operator locally witch didn't work because the arm that comes out of the operator was to long. it hit the outside of the casing of the door not permitting the arm to swing.

The 39-346 was the first thing to come to mind, as well, but the shortest arm is still too long. How about our 39-165K? This comes with a break-away link arm. The smallest possible link arm you can break off is approximately 1-13/16", the one up from that is approximately 2-5/16", and the third one up is 2-13/16". What do you think?
