Hello- we just bought a home built around 1963. It has 3 pane aluminum jalousie windows which are OK except most of them are missing the e-rings and what appear to be push-nuts that keep the levers running in the slots so the windows can close all the way.
Do you sell these parts, or where can I find them?

Thanks for posting. Have you seen our 21-161? How does that look to you?

Tom--Yes, it looks just like what's there. We got a couple from the local ACE hardware and put them on, but the windows still don't close all the way without really cranking hard enough so I worry about the gears.
If they've gone a long time without E-rings, do the levers that move the jalousies get bent?
What suggestions do you have?

Ah, I see. Try this. Remove the operator from the window and physically move the louvers to open and close them. Then spray the tracks and arms with WD40.
After some time, check to see if you notice a difference in how the the louvers close. If they're still having trouble, even without an operator, see if there is an obstruction. There might be something physically suck in there.
If they do close fine, however, then reinstall the operator and see how it works. If not, see if there is there another hole for the operator to attach to?
