A quick learner says:
How many turns to you make on the balancers to keep tension to keep the window in the up position?

Paul from SWISCO responded:
After screwing the top of the balance tube, bring up the spiral as close to the color bearing at the bottom of the tube and give it three turns. Try to keep the same amount of turns for both balances per sash. If the sash still does not stay up try giving them each another turn.
NOTE: too many turns will overload the spring and the balance will break so take your time adding tension.
