This is a picture of the latch i am looking at replacing . From the edge of the storm door to the center line of the mounting hole for the latch are 1 3/8 from the edge of the door.

We don't sell this exact setup. The 40-130 is very similar though. Take a look at the specifications and see what you think.

Thank you for replying so quick. I looked over the dim. for 40-130 but i did not see the dim. for mounting from the edge of the door. also can you tell me how much of the latch is past the edge of the door.
