Does the length of the operTOR ARM MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO INSTALLATION? eXISTING ARMS ARE 4 7/16 AND 9 7/16

Yes, the arm length does matter but note how it is measured in the diagram below. The long arm is measured from the tip to the center of the hole in the base. You may want to double-check to see if the dimensions actually do match your part. Thank you.
