lock for pella storm door

Question

I have a Pella storm door, no key for the lock. I removed the lock and the dimensions match your 40-129. But your description says it is for a Larson storm door. And your Pella handset 40-199 says the lock should be the 40-123. But the 40-123 dimensions do not match my lock. So I'm confused what to buy. Any suggestions?

I believe you are correct. Your installation hole is off centered like the 40-129, while the 40-123 hole is centered in the key cylinder. Looking at you photo, it appears your lock is closer to the 40-129. It's possible you could have a different series handle that takes the this cylinder. There are many, many types of door handles that look similar and are made by the same company, but have tiny, subtle differences like this.
