Hello,

I'm not sure if we can supply a closer match for your key lock based on your photos. If you could show us the handle set and mortise lock that it engages with, that would help us confirm. Thank you!

Mortise was 82-218

Which worked fine

If there is a complete lock assembly that would work with my handle please advise

Thanks for getting back to us. Your handle set resembles the 82-086 shown below, which uses the 82-310 key lock and is compatible with the 82-218 mortise lock. I'm not sure why you're having difficulty installing the lock but since I see that the handle is also missing the thumb latch, your best bet may be to replace the entire assembly with the 82-086 Review the specifications below and see what you think.

Since we've determined that the 82-218 is the correct lock for your original hardware, two possibilities come to mind. One is that the lock may just be misaligned. We come across this issue from time to time and can often be corrected by fully removing and reinstalling the lock assembly.

If the issue is actually that the back of the lock doesn't fit the cutout in the door, it may be necessary to file the opening just enough for the lock to install properly and engage with the mortise lock. This is also an issue we've come across in the past.
