lock system fell inside door

I have a sliding patio door. Unfortunately it's locking mechanism broke down and when I attempted to remove it it just fell inside the door.

The new lock system doesn't fit. Who do you recommend me contacting?

I would recommend that you contact us, as a matter of fact. If your mortise fell into the door then there is a very good chance that you need our 82-218. I am confident this is the lock you're looking for. Just make sure to watch the installation video below.
