I agree that the 82-218 mortise lock would be our best replacement option for your assembly. The installation holes would be the determining factor since ours are 3-11/16" apart, which is close to the measurement you provided. You may want to double-check and refer to the installation video below that shows how our lock installs behind the installation holes in the door. If the rest of the dimensions match besides the faceplate, you may also be able to reuse the original with the new lock.
