To get started, please confirm if you need replacement balances to support the top or bottom sash. If the original balances are missing, we'll need you to write out the exact height of the visible glass in your sash to determine the height that you would use for the S500 spiral balance. 

If the window does have the original balances, I would recommend removing it from the window to confirm the length and diameter of the tube, which is the best way to ensure that you purchase the correct replacements. Thank you. 

Thanks for getting back to us. If the balance tube measures 30-1/2" long, that indicates that you may have a hybrid-style balance. If so, there should be a stamp on the tube that we will need to confirm the correct replacement.
