Can you tell me if this door can have a outside lock added to it?

If you want, there are two options you can consider. You could just punch or drill out the circular punch in the outside handle and install our 82-310 cylinder, or you can replace the entire exterior handle with our 82-306. Let me know what you think!

I would want the whole handle replaced. Do you know for sure if this fits in the old handles spot?

I can't guarantee it, but it's a popular handle and can work on a wide variety of doors. The only way to know for sure, however, is if you compare the dimensions we show to your own hardware.
