measurement of 70-086 base

Is the measurement of the outside diameter of the portion that surrounds the screw? See picture

I want to slide something over this so I need the OD.

Thanks for posting. The diameter of the 70-086 "barrel" is approximately 3/8". I hope this information helps.

What is the length of this latch. From the barrel to the tip of the thumb end.

Hello! The total length from front to back is 13/16". The length from the inside edge of the barrel to the tip is 1/2". The height of the barrel is 1/4". The total height including the thumb end is 3/8". Let me know if that helps.
