metal tilt part

Question

Our customer said this is some kind of tilt latch in his window. I'm guessing it works with the balances possibly, but could be completely wrong. It is about 2" x 1 3/16" with a number on the bottom that reads 8959 along with A-S.

Hello there! Thanks for reaching out to us. The sash pivot shown here was made by Allen Stevens according to our records. Unfortunately, they went out of business and no one picked up this mold for your pivot bar.

However, you could consider the 26-355 pivot bracket. Take a look at the specifications and see what you think.
