milco window balance

Question

hello, we are trying to find replacement balances for some Milco double hung non tilting windows.  the balances are 27" long and 9/16 diameter. would you happen to have something that would work? thanks, Jim

Thanks for reaching out to us. We can supply the balance, which is a special commercial grade configuration that we call a "hybrid" balance. Because of its special configuration it will have to be a custom order.

Before we go any further, can you confirm the length of the tube? The lengths of this kind of balance end in 1/2" increments; for example, 26-1/2" long, 27-/12" long, and so on.

Can you also tell me what the stamp printed at the top of the tube reads? Finally, how many did you need altogether?

The shoe you display next to it is unfortunately discontinued and no longer made. The only possible option we have to replace it is our 15-232, but there is no guarantee it will work for your window. Look it over and see if you think it's worth considering.
