The old channel balance has the following info stamped on it "26 4 CW CMC1". The length is 26 but what about the tension? Please advise

Thanks for posting. Can we see pictures of the channel balance in question, including its end attachments? Also, could you confirm that the length of the metal channel, not including those end attachments? In many cases a channel balance with the stamp 26 4 will actually have a metal channel length of 27", so it's important to know for sure. Many thanks.

the Milgard window channel has the following info stamped " 26 4 CW CMC1" The actual metal channel length is 27", the window weights 19 LB. I am not sure which model I need to buy, model 380 vs 385. Please advise, I need 24 of them.

Hi there, if you are between the S380-27 and the S385-27 you'll need to measure the depth of the bottom shoe. If it's 1", you'll need the S380. If it's 1-1/8", you'll need the S385. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
