millgard balancers
Hello there!
Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid this sticker doesn't tell us anything about the hardware your window uses. Stamps are also not enough information as it only indicates the strength of the spring.
We'll need you to remove an undamaged balance in order to help. What we're specifically looking for are photos of the top and bottom fittings along with the hook at the end of the pulley cord. We can't help without this information, unfortunately.
Thanks! Looks like you have a special extended-travel type channel balance. We aren't able to sell these as stock products due to the specificity of their design, but we can provided them as a custom order.
We will need more information from you before we get started. First, please remove an undamaged version of the balance from the track and show me a clear picture of the metal hook at the end of the cord. I'd also like a side-profile view of the bottom fitting.
Since the calibration of the springs is in question, we should also get the exact weight of the sash. You can use any common bathroom scale. Your old stamp, 2640, is rated to carry 19 through 26 pounds (assuming two balances are carrying the load). As long as your sash weight falls in that range then we can continue to use it, but if it's heavier or lighter then we need to pursue other options.
Lastly, please measure the metal channel to verify that it is 26-7/8" long. It should be, but it's important to be thorough. There are other, more uncommon size variants that we are unable to supply.
