mirror hardware conversion

The top part of the mirror is confusing to me, is there a way to convert/switch the top hardware to wheels so that it can be installed in a regular wheel tract?

I'm afraid I can't really make out how the top of your door works. Your pictures are unclear. It looks like it uses a wheel, based on your second picture. Can you elaborate?
