missing cog

Question

I am missing the cog that goes in this Delaney escutcheon lockset. The cog acts to retract the latch when the thumb latch is pushed down on the outside of the door. (It has a door knob on the interior side of the door.) Is there anything I can buy to fix this without buying a whole new lockset?

Unfortunately, we do not sell minor components like the cog you're looking for, nor does the manufacturer provide it separately. In these situations, the only option is generally to replace the entire lockset unless you can find someone that sells an unrelated cog that happens to be the precise size needed but I'm not sure where you may be able to find such a part.
