missing spring

Hi,
Can you help me identify what spring I need to order for my customer's window that has a spring missing?
The window sash is ~36" x 27".

Thanks for posting. This is a special kind of balance that we do not carry. However, we may be able to offer a substitute. You could possibly use our Series 500 spiral balance and 17-012 bracket. Check out this hardware and see what you think. If you aren't sure what size balance you need, tell me the height of the visible glass and I can tell you the best choice.

Hi Paul,

The "visible" glass height is 33.5". Please do suggest the substitute with the Series 500 and the 17-012 bracket. Will I need two brackets?

Thank you! For the bottom sash, I recommend our S500-37 balance with a red tip, while for the top sash I recommend our S500-35 with a red tip. You will need one bracket per balance.
