Question

The photo is difficult to see on my computer, and I cannot determine which handle is 'outside.' Are the handles reversible left/right direction?
How long is the protrusion (latch) from the handle base? ie, how long is the part that falls into place on the inside door frame? My left-hand inswinging door has a 1/2" flange on the outside frame overlapping the door, so any latch must be installed away from the edge of the door.

We have different views of this handle on the 40-028 store page, make sure you carefully go over each one. The inside handle is the one with the latch. That latch stem is 15/16" from the base. The front nose piece that latches on to the keeper is 5/16".
