mortise lock for Pella designer series sliding patio door

Could you help me find the correct mortise lock for Pella designer series sliding patio door ( 1986 model XO26CS)
photo attached. It is a single point latch with no key.

Take a look at our 82-218 and see how well its dimensions match your existing mortise lock. Could you possibly use this as a substitute?

I have removed the latch and attached photos from what you see do you think your latch will fit?? mike

I agree with Dave, our 82-218 appears to be the closest match. Just make sure that all the dimensions are the same.

You may need to chisel some of the door to make the replacement fit. 82-218 is a rectangle where the original is sloped.

Do you sell the handles that go with this top photo? Is the 82-218 for a right sliding or left sliding door or does it matter?

The 82-218 inside latch can be used for either right or left sliding doors. There are many handles that go with the 82-218. To list a few, some of them are the 82-030, 82-035 and 82-069.
