mortise lock issue

A quick learner from Ft Myers FL says:

Lock has become jammed and wont release, causing it not to lock. What do I need to fix this? Thanks

Thanks for posting. If the lock can't flip any longer, then it needs to be replaced. This looks like it might be our 82-239, but you'll want to make sure that both locking teeth are oriented inward, as they are with the 82-239. Look it over and see what you think.
