multipoint lock is jammed and i cannot open the window

A quick learner from Ashburn, VA says:
The multipoint lock is jammed in one of my casement windows and when I slide the lever up or down, the lock does not open. I am unable to open the window to be able to have access to remove the lock.

I have attached 2 photos. First photo is of a good lock installed on another window which is same type and the window is open. Second one is the broken lock where the lever wont work

Please help and advise how I can remove the lock and replace it with a new one or with required parts.

Would appreciate your help

Hello,

This reminds me of one of our multi-point locks such as the 38-095, 38-096, 38-138, or 38-139. Look over all the dimensions, especially the projection of the fork, to see if one of these is what you need.

You can also find our video below to walk you through removing your part while it is stuck in the locked position. Thanks for posting!
