mw window spiral balance

Question

I need to replace the spiral balances for some of my MW vinyl windows. The balance has a vinyl cover over the metal. The diameter of the balance with the vinyl cover is 5/8" without it is 3/8". The length is 27" with cover and about 26 3/8" without cover with the red tip. I am thinking balance model S600-27 balance should be the replacement for my application. Could you confirm or correct me with this decision. I also need to replace a few pivot shoes and will get back to you with that information. Thank You in advance Mark

I agree, the S600-27 sounds like the best match. You only count the outer vinyl tube when considering the length and diameter, not the inside spiral.
