Good morning, Ken.

Your balances appear to match up with the Swisco Series 770 Channel Balance. However, the stamps and lengths are normally the same.

The 21HD stamp will usually measure 21", and the 11TG stamp will usually measure 11".

Please re-check the lengths of the channel portion only. Also, please give us the sash weights so we can determine the appropriate stamp option. You will have to remove the window sash and place it on a scale to get the sash weight in pounds.
A contractor from Indianapolis, IN says:
the lengths are correct the stamp number is 1" less
than the actual length, do you have these is stock,
I need them for a closing asap

Thank you
Ken

Hi Ken,
Take a look at SWISCO product 26-377 Pivot Bar, this has the same 8254 stamp.
A contractor from Indianapolis, IN says:
I have looked at all the balances. That one you sent DOES seem to be the only one that matched. I was going to go a head and try to order them but it wants me to choose between "22D, 22C, or 22B" These balances do not have any other codes on them besides the ones previously stated. I measured them again and they are defintiely 12 and 22. I guess I am asking if I should go ahead and order these and if so what option to choose, b, c, or d. I do not know what that changes on the balance.

Hi Ken,
Remove each window sash and place it on a scale to get the weight in pounds.

12" Series 770 balance with stamp option
12B will carry a window sash weight range of 7 through and includng 10 pounds
12C will carry 10 through and including 16 pounds
12D will carry 16 through and including 18 pounds

22" Series 770 balance with stamp option
22B will carry 10 through and including 16 pounds
22C will carry 16 through and including 21 pounds
22D will carry 21 through and including 24 pounds

This information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
