Let's start off with your channel balances. Start with having a look at our Series 380 balance. Confirm the 'depth' of your bottom balance shoe is 1". You will need the metal length measurement of the balance, along with any stampings or markings that appear on the balance to help complete the exact balance you need. As for your top sash guide, could we have you submit two more photos of it from the front side, as well as, from the sides? We will also need detailed measurements, so it's best to type them out to us rather than placing the part next to a ruler so that way we have accurate measurements.

Thank you! Please see our 18-201 Lawson top sash guide. This is very similar to your original in terms of design, and the dimensions are very close, as well. Look it over and let me know what you think!

A handy person from Pembroke Pines, FL says:
Thanks Looks like that will work.
I will order a few samples to check it out.
Then I can replace all balances and tops.

I already ordered parts for the first 7 windows.
Let's see how it works.
only one more question:
Are the channels to be kept dry or should I use some kind of grease?
If yes what type of grease? Thanks

Paul from SWISCO responded:

If you wish to use a lubricant for your balances, you can use some silicone based spray.

Thank you
