need coil balances and tilt latches

A home owner from Pittsburgh PA says:
Dear Sir/Madam: 1. I have a couple Am. Craftsman Home Depot windows, 10 years old. The coil balances are bad on both sides of the bottom window panes. These panes weight about 10lbs. The windows panes are 21" x 28 3/8ths". Frames roughly 24" x 57". Outside width of the side channels is 1.5". I need 4 coils and 4 shoes. Shoes had patent # 5,353,548. Why do they break? 2. Tilt latches: pictures attached. Need 4 right and 4 left...can you match the color? the Adventure continues?Mike

Bob from SWISCO responded:

This hardware is often associated with our Series 180 Coil Balances, which use the 15-087 Housing Shoe and 15-086 Tandem Housing. Look over their dimensions to confirm. Shoes can break for a lot of reasons, whether its just wear and age or from the window being too heavy for the coil balance system to support. Confirm the exact window weight, but if the window weighs 10 lbs exactly, (2) of the S180-5 5 lb springs, one for each side of the sash, would suffice.

For the tilt latches, see if the 26-243 and 26-244 match what you have.
