need coil for ideal window

A handy person from lynn, mass ( boston ) says:

Hello I need a coil for an ideal window. Mine snapped after about 11 years.

The Balance shoe says (4R ). THE COIL SAYS 4AE

Please see attached pictures for more details of the model number.

I see that most of your coils only have one ( hole ) mine has two holes as you can see. but I think the one whole version might work if it's the right length.

For now what I actually did was take the half that was broken took it out of the shoe. Then I inserted what was left the other half with the two holes on the coil ( I just put that half back in the shoe )

Then I just brought the metal secure piece down about 6 in so the window would reach to the bottom.

It's working for now but I need to get replacements for both sides just in case I'm sure the other one is about to break too.

Thanks for posting. This looks like a 15-087 Shoe to me, and therefore you'll need the S180-4 4 lb spring. Now, your shoe's cam looks a little different. To be safe, show us the pivot bar that works with this shoe so we know yours is compatible. Many thanks.
