need fold down window handles

Question

Hi,
I need to replace many handles that have the markings 13 45054 and 10 45054 (these seem to be identical to my eye). I need low profile (foldable) handles, as the current ones can't work with most window treatments. I have attached a few photos of one window. Do I just replace the handle or do I replace the handle and the white base that it attaches to?

Hey, Michelle. We do sell the folding 39-205. I think this will fit on your old operator, but you should confirm the diameter of the hole in the old handle. If it's 11/32" like ours then you should be good to go.

It's important to note that even the 39-205 may not have the clearance you need for your window treatments. In almost all cases, you have to install your blinds further out to compensate for the operator base and handle. Window manufacturers don't really keep this kind of thing in mind when they design these parts. You'll probably have to compensate for your operators regardless of the handle.

That said, it's worth trying out the 39-205 just to be sure.
