I have two windows sizes from a bronze frame window made by Viking. sirca 1995.
size one. stamped bsi 2830
second size stamped bsi 2840
third. is a piece that fits to the top of the window that keeps the guide from popping up
Here are some pictures. I don't have the pictures of the 2840 guides as I needed to reinstall them.

With this combination of attachments, you'll need the S395-29 balances. You'll also need 2830 and 2840 spring strength options for your replacement balances as long as both sets use balances with the same end fittings.
It sounds like you may also need top sash guides that hole the balances in place when installed. If so, we'd need to see an intact version removed from one of your windows to compare to our inventory. Thank you.
