need help identifying a 2390 BSI balance

Quick Learner
I have a 2390 BSI EA 36 Window Balance that is 23 7/16 length x 1/2" width and I need 2 of them of course. I found a pic of it but that one is a 36" long(plus outer fittings)

We can sell this balance, but only as a custom order. What you have here is called an "extended travel" channel balance, named for its unique configuration.

Before we go any further, I need a bit more information from you. To start, I need you to show me a clear photo of the metal clip that was at the end of the cord. I'd also like you to verify the length of the metal channel. It should be 23-7/8" based on your stamp, not 23-7/16". That length is honestly very irregular.

I will have to talk to the tenant because that was the problem it broke off. But I will see if i can get the other side and take a pic of it

Thanks, I appreciate it! That clip is an essential detail, so we unfortunately can't move forward without it. There are too many different varieties to choose from and none are interchangeable. Please let me know whenever you can get a shot of that for me.

No, I haven't seen this photo until this moment. I appreciate you uploading it for me to review.

This should be everything we need to get started. Please give me some time to verify the availability of this configuration and I'll get right back to you ASAP!

Thank you again for your patience. I'm talking to the manufacturer about making this balance and I can confirm that we can make it. However, they are requesting the precise weight of the sash in order to make sure that we get you the right spring calibration. Ordinarily a stamp of 2390 tells us how this spring is calibrated, but due to the custom nature of this assembly the manufacturer just wants to be 100% sure.

Would it be possible to get the precise weight of the sash?

I can use a regular scale and hold the window while standing on it then without it not sure of how precise that would be though if that will work then I can do that within next couple days please let me know if that will work. Thanks

That's perfectly fine! I've done that myself and I find it to be perfectly accurate.

We're here to help whenever you can get us that weight.
