Hello,

If you have the 15-192 pivot shoe, I agree that you would need the 3/4" wide S170 coil springs. We also offer the S171 with a longer tongue if you need to mount a second coil on top of the S170. If there are no numbers stamped on the base of your original coils, I would recommend weighing your sash and dividing the weight by the number of coils on both sides of the window to choose the corresponding strength options. Thank you!

Thank you.
There is no stamp on the coil at Sears windows installed in 2005.
Now, the current sash weighs 7 kg i.e. per coil 3.5 kg.
Which one of the stamp numbers represents the corresponding strength option.
263 334 335 336 405 406 407 408 409, see picture.
I have already replaced several pivot shoes on other windows three years ago.
Thank you for your continued help.

A 7kg sash would correlate to around 15-1/2 pounds. If that is the weight of your sash, I would recommend using one S170-408 coil on each side.
