need new crank mechanism

Question

I need the opposite mechanism shown here. The shaft of the left hand crank broke. I think I need part number 39-253RB. Does it matter if I get the one with the square or rectangle clip on for the end of the fixed arm? I think I can use the old one when I replace it. If this is the one, I will order it.
