Thank you for sharing your photos with us. Starting with your pivot shoe, I think it can be replaced with our 15-192. You will need to compare our piece with one of your shoes with no damage to confirm whether or not this is a match. This shoe can be used with both the Series 170 and Series 171 coil springs. The difference between these springs is that the Series 170 has a "short tongue" while the Series 171 has a "long tongue". Remove your coil spring from the window to carefully match up your part with ours. On the spring, there should also be some sort of stamping or marking on it. Please get back to us with that information. If there are no stampings, we will need the exact weight of the sash. Lastly, for the window lock, are you looking to replace that as well? If so, please get back to us with the screw hole to screw hole measurement. Thank you. |

Manuela isn't here today, but I will do my best to help. I recognize your window, anyway. It looks to me like you have older Simonton brand hardware. These parts actually aren't made anymore, unfortunately. The Certainteed brand parts that Manuela recommended will work fine, but the old pivot bar isn't compatible with the metal cam used by the Certainteed pivot shoe. As a result, you need to reuse the metal cam from your old shoe. They can swap out. I know that's not ideal but these parts of yours have been discontinued for a long time now. This is the best solution we have come up with. The only alternative is to grind down the tip of your pivot bar flat so that it will fit in the new style cam. |
