The window is a Philips 800 series vinyl window. It has the following printed on it 29 6 LW CMC 11. It measures 1/2" x 30". Which channel balance do I need? Pictures attached.

Thanks...Craig

Hi Craig,
This is SWISCO Series 390. I believe the 29 6 translates to our 2960 stamp option. To check, please remove the window sash and place it on a scale.

A 30" Series 390 balance with stamp option 2960 will carry a window sash weight range of 32 through and including 35 pounds.

This information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.

If your sash does fall into that weight range you can choose stamp option 2960; we just added this option online for you so please allow 2 to 3 weeks for production.

Hi Donna,

The window weighs about 30 lbs. weighed on a bathroom scale. so would the 2960 still be the right choice?

Thanks...Craig

Hey Craig,
Unless you think your scale is not correct, go with the 2950 stamp option. The 30" Series 390 with stamp option 2950 will carry a window sash weight range of 28 through and including 32 pounds.

This information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
