I need replacement part for an older aluminum, single pain window. If the part is not available is there some way to do a retrofit?

I'm afraid I don't immediately recognize this. To figure out what balance system can work, are you able to remove the bottom sash? Also, what is the width and height of the sash? Finally, what is the height of the visible glass?
