Thanks for reaching out to us. The difference between the Series 380 and Series 385 is the depth of the bottom shoe. The Series 380 has a 1" deep shoe and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" deep shoe. You'll have to measure as shown below to determine the best match.

Is there a stamp on the metal channel that we could see? Can you also show us a photo of the inside of the metal channel where the innerspring connects to the pulley mechanism? That'd be located in the middle of the channel.

In that case, you'd want the S385-33 with the 3240 stamp option. I can't be 100% certain this balance will work for you without seeing the spring connection, however. We'd have to see an undamaged version to be sure. We've come across balances that are almost identical to what you have here but with a specific clip that connects the spring to the pulley mechanism that makes our stock balances incompatible. 

I'm afraid this doesn't show us what we're looking for. We have to see the middle portion of the balance where the spring is connected. You can use the image below as a reference. If yours looks like the one on the right, you can use the Series 385. If your balance has a clip like what's shown on the left, this would have to be a custom order.
