non-tilt channel balances

Question

I have a 3-column and a 2-column windows with long screw-type non-tilt channel balances. Currently, the windows don't hold the position and they come down when they are opened. I am looking for replacement or alternative parts.

Thanks for reaching out! To identify the right replacement balances, I'll need to see them removed from the window.

You'll need to confirm the diameter of the balance as well as the length of the metal tube (not including the tip). Also, it does not appear that your balance has a tip color, so I'll need to know the exact weight of your sash.

Non-tilt balances are typically connected to the window using some type of bracket, so I'll need to see the a photo of the bracket if you are looking to replace that, if there is one installed.
